What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is an orthodontic practice using a series of invisible and removable aligners that are comfortable to wear and almost invisible. This allows our patients to smile as confidently during the treatment as after it. We use 3D imaging technology to provide better and faster results.
Why Invisalign?
There are actually a lot of amazing benefits to this modern treatment. Not only is it invisible and comfortable but you can also easily remove and wear it before and after eating and drinking whatever you want during your orthodontic treatment. The easily removable function means no brushing and flossing problems. The aligners are made of lightweight plastic material which causes no irritation or sores like metal braces.
Also because of no metal brackets and wires, you will have to spend less time visiting our office for adjustments. With Invisalign, you can also see your virtual treatment plan at the beginning and see how your teeth will look at the end of the treatment.
How does it work?
Dr. Bieszki custom designs each set of aligners specifically for each patient’s requirements. These sets of aligners are instructed to wear for about two weeks each. You can only remove them to eat, drink, floss and brush. As the treatment progresses, Dr. Bieszki will replace each aligner with the next one in the series, allowing your teeth to move little by little until they are perfectly aligned in their desired positions.
Invisalign patients have to visit our office every six weeks so we can track their treatment process accurately. This process usually lasts about 9 to 15 months with an average of 18 to 30 sets of aligners used in the process.
